    Vintage handmade basket by Papago Indians of Southern Arizona~
    The Papago Indian reservation is just south of Tucson. The Papago tribe is called Tohono O'odham Nation ,which means "People of the Desert".
    Made with white yucca stalks and bear grass and sweetgrass.

    Leather rope looping~ accent on edge with shades of brown & tan spiral pattern.
    Measures approx.~7 1/2 x 7 1/2"
