    This auction is for historical original old c.1880's to 1890's cabinet card photograph showing uniformed wearing six pointed star badge Chicago Police Officer. There is photo credit at a bottom " Martin 78 State St. Chicago ". There is nothing visible on six pointed star, but there is no doubt this is very early Chicago Police. There is letter P , or N, visible on two buttons with strong magnifying  glass. Rare early historical Chicago Police photograph .  Enlarged at a scan for better viewing. As shown at a scans.
