Storer College Quartet
Description:
This sale is for the Antique HBCU Cabinet Card pictured.   It is a rare image of the Storer College Quartet, an all black singing group.  Storer College was a  famous African American / Black College based in Harpers Ferry WV.  They  were famous for many things and their singers were also known as the Jubilee  singers.  You can read all about it online, but there are no other examples  of this image to be found, and I looked.
The back is marked with  the college name and each singers name. Quick searches of them turned up some  further info.  I believe this dates from before 1900.  A good looking  group.
