    Description

Antique, c1900, original sepia cabinet card photograph.  Depicts an intriguing image of a a cross-dressing man in drag perched on a tree branch up in a tree.  The man is posing in an affectionate pose with a smile on his face and one hand on his head.  He is wearing a dress, tie, wig and has a basket balanced on his head.  Hanging beside him on a branch is a fur boa.  Provenance comes from an eastern Massachusetts area estate.
In Very Good overall condition.  Image is clean and crisp with no scuffing or scraping.  Matting shows gentle wear and a small ding to the top right corner.  Displays handsomely and quite worthy of framing.  Comes housed in a protective clear plastic sleeve.
