Vintage 1916 Photograph on Board by J. H. Peat of Angelsea, NJ.  Photograph depicts a group at a beach-style hotel with signage reading; "The MACCABEE - Mrs. J. W. SHAW Proprietress".  Painted canvas sign on porch appears to read OLD GOOSE CLUB or GOLD GOOSE CLUB and PITTSBURGH (PA???).  Photographer's rubber stamp on back reads; J.H. Peat, "Angelsea N.J."  Possibly this is the location of the beach house.  Date of "1916" appears in the negative on lower left corner.  I count 37 people in this photograph including a black African American chef.  Approximate mount size is 13-3/4" x 11-3/4".  Condition: light surface soiling, occasional dings, scuffs, edge wear, and foxing spots.  Please see photos for additional condition review.  Questions Welcome!
